I really need help, i’ve been biting my nails for years, & sometimes it really hurts afterward. My dad brings a nail clipper around with him, but I don’t think that will help me because I bite them while they’re short too. Most of the time I bite them subconsciously, so its really hard to control.

Just a random thing, but I painted my toes 3 months ago & just now removed the rest of the paint & redid them. But if I paint my nails, its gone in 2 days. Why does it stick so well to toes but not fingers?

Is it because they don’t want people to see their nail polish but they like it themselves?

My fingernails are about 1.5 centimeters from cuticle to tip (about 3/4 inch) . Is this too long? I really like long fingernails (i can make people bleed), but people say “WHOAAAAAAAA YOUR FINGERNAILS ARE LONG”. Are they too long?

Would he say they look pretty with them or without them?

The manicurist said it was the new trend over seas. She said that they had longer tips filed to a point or oval instead of the square common look. Has anybody heard of this or had their nails done this way?

My finger nails are small.. I don’t think I ever used to nibble on them as a kid.. but they are really really small & most females have nice nails they can polish to look sexy.. I need to grow my nails atleast try what can I do to grow my fingernails.

I thought they would just grow out after a while, but I’ve had them for a long time now. They are dimentional & can snag on things. They’re not discolored – & I don’t think they’re infected in any way. I was going to go see the doctor, but it seems like a minuscule problem… Does anyone know anything about this?

Its that crap you use to put on fake nails, but now I cant get it off! I’ve tried nail polish remover, but that didn’t help at all!

Several people clip there finger nails at work & it drives me at the wall. Am I the only person that this bugs?

A friend of mine, aged 38, has done this for years. Every finger & thumb have no nails on them. He refuses to answer why, & gets mad when I ask.

If so what are the consequences if there are any?

The best way I’ve found is to use “super glue” or “crazy glue”! It is amazing stuff! Just be careful & let it dry before you touch anything. Put the super glue on the tips of your fingers & on the ends of the finger nails. Do this a few times over a day & you’ll have very very strong nails. Great for flamenco style.

eeehhh…my boss always clips his nails here. It makes me so sick. When he had stitches on his thumb, he kept asking if he could use my scissors all week. I find out after 5 days of him using my scissors & returning them…that he’s using them to clip his stitches!!!! EWWWW

I used to bite, but now I’m growing them out & constantly notice dirt though I shower often.

I wish to find who has the longest fingernails, mine are about not very long because i bite them!
