Manicure Answers

I thought they would just grow out after a while, but I’ve had them for a long time now. They are dimentional & can snag on things. They’re not discolored – & I don’t think they’re infected in any way. I was going to go see the doctor, but it seems like a minuscule problem… Does anyone know anything about this?

Like what are some home remedies or what can I put on it or soak them in??

our nails are attached to the flesh.so from where they grow?from the nail top or bottom?

Or is there any other way to tell besides a blood test? Formerly I’ve had anemia that is not related to iron deficiency.

I had Gold colour nail varnish on for about a month & it has stained my toe nails, is there anyway to get it off or just wait for it to grow out?

Now as you may know, I’m in an up & down, sexless marriage. My wife & I were heading for divorce – basically because we’d grown completely apathetic about one another, & because we often feel more like business partners or codependent siblings than lovers. But she’s decided she’ll put up with me for the sake of the kids for at least a little while longer while I try to figure out how to stop being myself & instead figure out how to be perfect-husband-guy.
And I’m trying. Really I am. My heart is in the right place & I want to win her back by doing all the right things & none of the wrong things. I’m doing the dishes. I’m taking her out for date nights. I’m giving massages & taking the kids out to the park on the weekend so she can have a good couple solid hours of personal time to herself. I’m telling her that her new haircut makes her look hot & showing genuine interest in all the new age hippie crap she’s into. Honestly I can say that I’ve been nailing it the past few weeks & she has to be impressed with the changes in action & demeanor. She has to be. But that’s still not really sparking any kind of chemical attraction between the two of us.
Compounding the problem is that I work downtown & am therefore constantly surrounded by super-hot chicks of all flavors wearing little business skirts with their hair tied up in a messy bun & little wispy locks hanging down around their neck + white button up shirts opened just enough to give a nice view of collarbone & a little bit of perky boobage. It’s starting to drive me nuts.
Once I get home, I’m not distracted & it’s no problem. And I really honestly truly would never cheat (I’d sooner get a divorce FIRST & THEN hook up with a girl so I don’t have to see a cheater every time I look in the mirror). But like I said, my wife & I feel more like brother/sister than lovers by this point, & it’s going to take a while to reconfigure the relationship back to a sexual one. In the meantime, I want to know what I can do to stop getting so damn turned on by all these random chicks on the street, & instead focus that turned-on-ness to my wife — even though the problem is that I can’t see my wife & I being sexual with one another until I’ve figured out a way to “re-spark her flame”… so I know that allowing myself to be turned on by her will just lead to frustration & blue balls.
How do you balance the desire to remain faithful to a wife that you don’t have sex with anymore against the urge to yank every half-decent looking 20-something into the supply closet for some touchy-feely action as you pass them in the office hallway? I don’t like being this much of a perv, & I didn’t use to be.

I used a bright orange nail varnish with a base coat as well & it has still stained my nails a horrid yellow colour.
i’ve tried lemon & even bleach to get the stains off but they haven’t even faded

Before you go throwing acetone or nail varnish remover on it,… check what your duvet is made from & then get back to us. Acetone & varnish remover are note exactly non-volatile substances!
You could end up melting a section of duvet if you’re not careful.

after painting my nails (fingers & toes) i get most of it off, however there is always a line by the ‘moon’ of the nail. any suggestions on how to get it off?

I have bought Chanel – Dior – & loads of different types, even cheap ones – they all chip!!!!

His head is covered in bloody scratches but it’s really hard to cut his nails because his fingernails are so tiny plus he wriggles so much…
I tried scratch mits, but he pulled them off & woke up with scratches on his face & head. I put long baby-socks on his hands, right up to his elbow & he even pulled them off.
I tried filing his nails with a nail file but it didn’t get them short enough. I tried biting his nails with my own teeth but it woke him up & he wriggled.
I’m all out of ideas…

So i was putting on fake nails today & I made suuuuch a mess! I don’t have any nailpolish remover & I tried filing it off, & it works okay, but it’s not very easy on my skin, any advice?

I used to get my nails done with acrylics, but decided not to anymore about 6 months ago. I have long nail beds, & my natural nails are growing beautifully (I actually have to cut them back, some are getting too long!) but a few in particular are splitting & peeling. Any ideas on what to do to make this stop? And how to make them shine naturally?

I ALWAYS WONDERED. like, how does the white part grow if like the nail grows from the opposite side. if that makes sense?
