i bite mine a lot but im willing to try to stop if i have something that will give me the hope of having pretty nails.

3 of my toenail have fallen off & the nails look like they are perfectly healthy & when they fall off, they do not get sore. They are not discolored or anything like something is wrong with them.

If I knew the word, I could look it up & find the meaning. But all I have is the meaning. Does anyone know if there is a word that specifically means that teeth-jarring sound?

OOOK, so
i have relatively long nails, BUT everytime they get the length i like, they break! OVER & OVER again.
is there anything (NOT nailpolish) i can put on them to keep them strong?

i have started to grow my nails, but i want them to be longer for a birthday party next month, becoz i am going to a salon to get my nails done with some mates.
so.. home remedies anyone?? & how to make them??

Do they grow slower if there is nail polish on them? What do you think?

If not could any one give some ideas that work? I seems lately that my fingernails are very brittle.

I agree. There are too many to list! Just as an example, I read recently that OPI has over 450 colors available, with more coming out all the time! And that is just ONE nail polish company! There are many other companies that make polish. I couldn’t even guess how many colors there are, but there sure are a lot of them! And the other response is so true. She said that if you blend the colors, then the possibilities are endless. She made a very good point!

I’ve noticed lately that some of my fingernails have ridges. What does that mean?

Regarding polish………….. I’m trying some Sally Hansen stuff but I don’t think it’s working. I have some vitamins but they have such a bad taste, I’m nauseas for about an hour after I take them. Is there any “polish” that actually causes them to grow fast & strong? They are damaged from artificial nails, but my husbands grow so fast that he has to cut his once a week. WHy aren’t mine growing that fast?

I really want longer nails but i always bite them off so i figure if i can grow longer nails faster they will be so beautiful that i couldn’t possibly bit them off please help i really want long glamorous nails not little girl riggid nails that show sings of nerviousness! i really would like this question to be answered by a lady who works or goes to a spa frequently

Im 15 & my nails are really soft. Everytime i try to grow them they break so easily. I can literally push them down & they move to my skin. Is this an age thing? When i get older will they get harder? I have been using a L’oreal nail hardener (can’t remember what its called) every day for 4 days so far, will this work? Are there any more tips to help my nails become harder? Thanks.

i was wondering if there was some type of surgery that could remove toenails permanently, theyre annoying as hell & to me, serve no purpose, if there is one though. please tell me

My father-in-law has type 2 diabetes & the other day my mother-in-law told me they had discussed how his feet were feeling numb & that two of his toes (one on either foot) were black underneath his toenails. Being a diabetic & having no insurance, I was asked to look up any home remedies for black toenails. All I could find about diabetic foot care was how to wash them & how to pick out the right footwear. All of that helps, but it’s not quite what I’m looking for – any advice would be great! Thanks

Whats makes your namils grow faster longer?!

When I was a few years younger I used to bite my nails constantly. But now that I’m older I want my nails to be long & pretty. So is there anything that I could eat/drink/take to make them grow faster. Cause it seems like they never grow.
